Withington Pride: A Call Out for Queer, Transgender and Intersex People of Colour
Coconut is a facilitated discussion about how systemic racism subtly embeds itself in the daily lives of members of the global majority, exploring the often-unseen ways individuals internalise and uphold oppressive norms. The discussion explores these themes of 'othering' through the lens of food, culture and community. They are inviting QTIPOC* to attend a workshop, which aims to bring people together to explore the intersections of othering as queer and Global Majority folk, find connections, solace and a shared understanding.
