Love gaming? Curious about streaming or content creation? Or simply want to build new digital skills in a relaxed, supportive environment? We're excited to invite veterans to our FREE Veterans Esports & Digital Futures Programme taking place this August at the University of Salford. Whether you're a casual gamer, have always wanted to explore esports, or are interested in learning new digital skills that could support your career or hobbies, this two-day programme is for you.
What to expect
Over two engaging days you'll have the opportunity to:
- Take part in team gaming sessions
- Learn about esports and the growing gaming industry
- Explore streaming and content creation
- Improve your digital confidence and online safety
- Hear from guest content creators
- Discover university progression opportunities
- Meet and network with other veterans in a welcoming environment
No previous experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and willingness to get involved.

- Dates: 19th & 20th August
- Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm each day
- Location: Salford Business School Esports Lab, Maxwell Building, University of Salford (M5 4WT)

This programme has been created to help veterans connect, develop valuable digital skills and explore exciting opportunities within the world of gaming, esports and digital media.
