Manchester Baby Week 15th – 20th June 2026:
This six-day programme is filled with FREE, fun activities and events that are designed to support your child's development from conception to 2 years old. There's something for everyone, like workshops, messy play, family fun days in parks and much more.
Baby Week kicks off with a launch event on Monday 15 (10am – 3pm) at the iconic Manchester Art Gallery. With events and activities then happening across the week in cultural venues, leisure centres, your local Sure Start Children’s Centres and Family Hubs.
We finish with a bang on the Saturday, with Family Fun Days for children of all ages, in parks across Manchester.

Men’s Health Week: Andropause Awareness Session
From 15–21 June, Healthwatch Manchester will be delivering a range of initiatives to mark Men’s Health Week. One of these initiatives is an hour-long awareness session focusing on Andropause (commonly referred to as the Male Menopause). The session will be followed by a 30-minute general discussion. Please note that this discussion is intended for information-sharing purposes only and will not provide medical advice.
We would like to invite you to this session on Thursday 18th June 12:00 – 13:30. The session: Myths and Misconceptions will cover the following topics:
• What male menopause (andropause) is and differentiate it from female menopause.
• We will look at testosterone, to be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of testosterone deficiency,
• Understand the biological, psychological, and social impacts of male hormonal changes.
• Briefly look at transgender and non-binary considerations.
• The session will Identify evidence-based approaches for diagnosis and management.
• And along the way, by having an increase in information, it will help to challenge common myths and provide sensitive, informed support to men experiencing symptoms.
