We will record this on your health record so all our staff know, and arrange the support you need. This is part of the NHS Accessible Information Standard (opens the NHS England website).

Our building has a step-free entrance on the ground floor, and a lift to the first-floor consulting rooms.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

We test every new page and change before it goes live. We review the whole website at least once a year, and the pages people use most every 6 months.

Feedback from Healthwatch Manchester (opens the Healthwatch Manchester website) on GP websites across the city helped shape this website. Thank you to everyone who has told us what makes our website hard to use.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 12 October 2026. It was last reviewed on 12 October 2026.

This website was last tested on 12 October 2026 by Ladybarn Group Practice. We tested every page with automated checks:

  • axe-core, which checks for problems against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA standard
  • each page at 320 pixels wide, the same as zooming in to 400%, to check nothing needs scrolling sideways
  • each page with wider spacing between lines, words and letters
  • moving through each page with only a keyboard, checking every link and button can be reached in order and shows where you are
  • heading order, page titles and page language
  • that nothing moves for people who have turned off animation on their device

We also tested the homepage and the Appointments, Prescriptions, Contact us and Join the surgery pages by hand on 12 October 2026, using a screen reader, voice control and browser zoom up to 400%.
