What this website collects

Information:

This website does not collect your personal information. It does not use cookies, and it does not track what you do.

When you visit any website, your device shares some technical information, such as your IP address and the type of browser you use. For this website:

  • our website host, Cloudflare, keeps this information in its records for a short time to keep the website secure
  • the NHS lettering (the Frutiger font) is loaded from NHS England's website, so NHS England also receives this technical information

When you use the search on this website, your search works on your own device. What you type is not sent to us or anyone else.

Read our cookies page to find out more.

When you contact us or ask for help online

When you fill in an online form, order a prescription or use the NHS App, your information goes to the service you are using and to us. Read how we use your health records to find out how we use it.

Some forms are provided by companies that work for us. For example, our Friends and Family Test and patient group sign-up use Microsoft Forms. These companies can only use your information to provide that service to us.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as NHS.UK, the NHS App, Google and OpenStreetMap maps. They have their own privacy notices, which explain how they use your information.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it. Read about your rights in how we use your health records.

If you are unhappy with how we use your information, contact our data protection officer. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office:
