Alcohol and drugs

Change Grow Live runs Manchester's drug and alcohol service for adults and young people. Call 0161 823 6306 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) or refer yourself online (opens the Change Grow Live website). People aged 25 and under are supported by its young people's service, Eclypse.

If you drink a lot every day, do not stop suddenly without advice. Talk to us or to Change Grow Live first.

Smoking and vaping

Be Smoke Free is Manchester's free stop smoking service. It gives support and stop smoking aids. Call 0161 823 4157 or refer yourself online (opens the Change Grow Live website).

Gambling

The NHS Northern Gambling Service (opens the NHS Northern Gambling Service website) treats gambling problems and has a clinic in Manchester. It also supports family members affected by someone's gambling.
